You are looking at a 1936 Ford 1 1/2 ton wrecker. This truck still has the original Flathead V8 motor and four speed transmission with manual power take-off to run the rear winch assembly. The motor is stuck (not running). Under the hood, the motor is complete other than the missing carburetor. The cab is fairly straight with minimal rust. This truck has a 1935 Ford hood, the grill is in nice shape with one grill bar missing. It has nice headlights. The bed is all steel that resembles a sort of antique diamond plate metal. This tow truck also has a diamond plate push bumper on the front . The floor of the bed is also all steel. It has a huge winch assembly on the bed with a pipe wrecker assembly and rear cradle. This old truck also comes with 4 very nice extra wheels The dash is all original with stock gauges and the original Ford gas heater. On the right side of the bed is an antique car trunk used as a tool box. Also included is the cool old reflector arm turn signal assembly and an antique spotlight on the roof. This old truck is very complete and is all original . It is very cool looking with excellent patina. Have fun bidding!
