Vehicle Detail

1997 F250 CREWCAB7.3lt POWERSTROKE4X4 Up for sale today I am listing a truck that I picked up a week or so ago. I put it on here last week to see what it could do and had alot or lookers and watchers, and a few good offers, but I was holding out for a local guy that offered a good deal for it. I really didn't want it to go to him due to him being in the oil business, and so in turn he decided against it anyways. So here I am listing it back on here to give it a second go. This truck was owned by a guy in southern New Mexico. He claimed to be a one owner, but title showed to have 27k miles on it when he purchased it, so I don't know, maybe a retitling issue. Anyways, it has been very well taken care of, never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch installed ever, no holes inside the bed at all. It has had a rubber bedmat and a camper shell on it since day one almost with this guy. Exterior- The outside of this truck is in very good shape, there are a few very small pea sized hail dents on the left side I saw, the hood has a small dent in it, and a door ding on the right passenger door. Other than that very nice, the clear is peeling on the camper, but not on the truck at all, there are some light mesquite scratches from our landscaping in this part of the country, no rust at all. There are a few sponts on the stripe tape that is tore, no biggy. It has manual extending trailer mirrors, single hoop steps at each door, front ranchhand style grill guard, that must have once been white, because all the rock chips show white, the rear bumper was crunched once, so he built a pipe bumper that doubles as an airtank. Reciever hitch, trailer wiring and aftermarket alluminum wheels. Interior- The inside of this truck is very nice, it has tan cloth interior, with a 40/20/40 front seat, manual shift 4wd, original factory tape deck, all lights and guages work, a/c is ice cold and heater works well too. There are a few stains in the front capet, but I believe they will shampoo out just fine. There are a few cigarette burns in the interior, one on the passenger seat, and a few in the back. He said they happened while hunting with friends, because there is absolutely no odor of smoke in this truck. The interior is not worn at all, still smells good, still feels good. Only minor flaws.Mechanical- This truck has the legendary 7.3 liter Powerstroke that made Ford infamous, backed by their stong Automatic tranny. Not sure on the gearing, but I'm guessing 3.55's, this truck drives great. He said he had the tranny rebuilt about 50k miles ago with a shift kit installed, and you can tell, that tranny is tight no wear whatsoever. No blow-by at all by the engine, glow plugs are great, no heat up time needed at all hardly, wait to start light goes off quickly. The tires are a 10ply 235 and they don't have much life left, I'll leave the new tire decision left to the new owner. It does have a K&N airfilter system installed, along with 5" staight exhuast and a Diablo tuner just for mileage, he was not the type of guy that ran this truck hard. If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to call or email me whenever, my name is Eric and my cell is 575-626-3557. Thanks for looking and have a great day.........
