I bought this truck for a company I do work with to use. They use the Cummings trucks for pesticide trucks as they get such great fuel mileage and last forever. Unfortunately this truck has a bad auto 3 speed transmission and I could not sell it to them. I believe the governor needs cleaned out but can't guarantee it. The truck runs and drives fine but after 30 minutes on the highway it drops 3rd gear. If you take your foot off the throttle and press it again you can get 3rd again but its not right. Motor runs great, truck has a brand new fuel lift pump and brake master cylinder which I installed prior to finding the transmission issue. Can you drive this truck home?? I have no idea. I drove it 45 minutes from my shop to home and back and made it. At my starting price your basically getting a good deal on a low mileage non innercooled 12 valve.
