I am selling this for my step-mom. She is the original owner but can no longer drive. The car has not left her garage for around 10 years, and has not been started for 3-4 years. It is a 1967 V8 3 speed Mustang. Everything is original and unrestored. The car is in Seattle, and whoever buys it is responsible for picking it up. There is nobody there to help load the car, so bring a friend! You will need to trailer the car since it has been sitting so long. Some patience may be required because the garage door has not been opened in a long time, and we'll have to get somebody to look at it first to make sure it is safe. Your patience will be worth it if you are a collector, because this is an all original car being sold by the original owner. It looks to be in good condition, no obvious signs of rust (see the underbody photos), and in good shape overall. It's pretty cool to see such an old car in this unrestored condition! We are looking for the records for this car: my step-mom keeps everything, so we think there must be a folder somewhere with all the maintenance records and purchase documents. We've been looking for it, but no promises at this point (other than a promise to keep looking). If you win the bid, you must submit a $500 deposit by PayPal within 72 hours. At that point I will work with my dad to make sure the garage door gets inspected (if it has not already been inspected - we will try to get it done before the auction closes). Once that is complete, then you can submit the remaining payment by PayPal, and we'll set a date for you to pick up the car! Payment is by PayPal only, and must be in full before the car can be picked up. All fees such as transport, title and registration fees etc. are the responsibility of the buyer. I am listing this as no reserve - we'll see where the bids go. Please note that the car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. Also I have had several questions about the title: we own the title clear and free, but me may have to get a duplicate title from the DMV. Easy to do in Washington. We're still looking for the original and if we can't find it then we'll get the duplicate.
