Up for bid is a rare nice older plow/dump truck. It is a 1989 Ford F350 with 4x4 and a snowplow. This truck has the desirable 460V8/ C6 trans combination that is virtually bullet proof. It always starts right up at the first turn of the key and runs really well down the road. The odometer reads 86,000 and I believe that is original mileage. All the gauges work like they should. The trans shifts smoothly between gears and the 4x4 goes in and out easily as well. The front tires are like new Firestone Transforce and the rear tires are about 50%. The cab of the truck has only minor rust in a few places but is very solid overall. It was painted before we got it and isn't the best quality but does look good from a distance. I am sure if you buffed it, (especially the hood) it would look even nicer!Underneath has some surface rust but nothing major. It was undercoated many years ago. It does need a new exhaust system but other than that is ready to go. The dump bed has a massive hoist underneath and goes up at a steep enough angle to dump any load. It is power up and gravity down. The sides of the bed has some minor surface rust and the floor is a little wavy but structurally solid. The rear gate drops open or has a spreading function (spreading lever needs to soak in some lube to free up as I never used it). The snow plow is the heaviest duty Meyer 8.5' that you could get for the year and has power up, power angle, and a cushioned drop which all work very well. The plow is in very good condition and the cutting edge is also in good shape. The plow can be easily removed and I have a forklift to set it in the back of the truck if you want for transport. The interior of the truck is a little dirty but is in good shape for the year. The seat has no rips and the carpet is intact as well. The roof of the truck has a $400 yellow strobe light that still works but did require a cutout on the roof- see pic. The lights on the front of the dump box do not turn out and may just need a bulb or wiring or something. The truck lights all work. This truck would cost you over $40,000 to duplicate new. It is a nice old truck but certainly isn't perfect. It would make a great backup truck for a commercial fleet or be perfect for a homeowner with some property.
