This is a 1964 Spridget racecar, solidly built from rust-free body, and fully sorted. For "skinny money", you'll get a front runner that's a blast to drive. 1:07 @Lime Rock 2011 Vintage Festival, finishing 2nd in class . At NHIS, 1:25, and was a consistent winner. Fresh top overhaul, and excellent Hoosier tires. Imagine the cost to build one having all these elements! Truly race-ready, and in beautiful condition. Rust-free Spridget fully caged body with a fiberglass Bugeye nose and boot lid. Black Rhino hide interior, excellent metallic gray exterior, Spa mirrors, Minitor 5 x 13 alloy wheels, shod with 185-13 Hoosier Street TD tires, and ATL fuel cell with Holley pump and fuel pressure gage. Interior has Kirkey seat, Sunpro gages, Crow belts & harness, battery switch, EGT gage, removeable steering wheel, AMB transponder, MSD ignition, fuse panel, fire bottle, and brake bias control. "A" series motor is 1315 cc (1275+.040) with 14 / 1 grooved top pistons on shot-peened rods, DCOE 45 Weber carb, APT SPVP 4 cam, oversized baffeled oil pan, pertronics distributor, and alternator equipped. Chassis has tubular shocks f & r, Panhard rod, 7/8 in sway bar, front disc brakes with SS braided lines, Rivergate 5-speed conversion with rebuilt Datsun 210B trans, 4.22 gears in the Tran-x diff, hardened axles, exhaust header, and Supertrap muffler. Car came from Wisconsin, where it was a "Team Thicko" car, and had successfully raced primarily at Road America. It has also been run in VRG in Group 1 and 2. In VSCCA (Limerock Historical Vintage Festival) we ran with all other midgets, sprites, and other cars under 1.5L. NHIS- 1:25.409 finished 3rd in all comers race to two 911's Limerock-1:06.930 finished 2nd in class and 5th overall (against MGB's including MGBGT). Car uses 105 octane minimum. 7500rpm redline. "Wedged" crankshaft capable of higher rpm.
