This is a 1937 Ford truck that I purchased with the hopes of making a Beach Rod (Beach themed Rat Rod) out of. My plans have changed since the purchase so I’m going to pass this gem on to the next person. Let’s start with pictures; you will see a couple in the listing but there are dozens in the attached photo link below. What you see in the pictures is exactly what I have for the truck. Everything you see goes with the truck. The truck does come with a title, clear and open. It was last licensed in 1961. As you can see from the pictures I’ve just got the parts setting on a frame for display. Nothing is mounted anywhere, it’s all just a balancing act. The frame is a late 80’s or early 90’s S-10 2WD frame with front disc brakes. I believe the steering column is from a Mustang II King Cobra (the steering wheel is worth some bucks). Before I go any further I want to make it clear that I WILL NOT PART IT OUT! DO NOT ASK ME TO SELL ANY PIECE FROM THIS PROJECT! Now that I am clear about that I will move to the condition of the body parts. The bed is AWESOME! I have never seen an original bed this nice. NO RUST HOLES! The header panel is gone but that’s an easy part to replace. The tailgate is very nice as well. There is a wrinkle in the driver side rear post where the tail gate closes but it’s also an easy fix. The cab is one of the better un-restored ones I have ever seen. Somebody has already put floors and rockers in it and the rest of the cab looks pretty good. The doors are rusty at the bottom like every one I have ever seen. You can buy the bottom sections off Ebay for $90. As you can see from the pictures it comes with an extra set of doors (which are in about the same condition as the ones on the truck). The front fenders are decent, pitting but they are better than most. It comes with an extra driver side front fender. The rear fenders are fairly rough, great for a rat rod but I’d probably buy the aftermarket fiberglass ones if I were building a street rod or something fancy. The hood is VERY NICE. It looks good and folds nicely. It still has one of the original V8 emblems on one side. The grille is also VERY NICE. This is a VERY hard grille to find!! Although you will need all new glass, its all flat glass and cheap to have cut. The front and rear windshield frames are with the truck. You will also see a beer keg, old gas can and police spot light. Those are items I had planned to use on the Rat Rod so they go with the truck. Please understand, this is a project truck. Please look at ALL the pictures carefully, they will answer 99% of the questions you have. For the sake of saying it; THIS TRUCK DOES NOT RUN. THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR REFUNDS. THIS TRUCK WILL HAVE TO BE HAULED FROM MY LOCATION TO YOUR LOCATION. I WILL NOT ARRANGE, LOAD OR SUGGEST A COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT COMPANY. This truck is in pieces, just as you see in the pictures so I suggest you bring a truck with trailer and load it yourself. I MIGHT consider delivery AFTER balance is paid in full within a certain mile range. My original plans were to use one of my Chrysler 331 Hemi engines with a dual quad (2x4) intake and torqueflight 727 in the truck. I have everything to do it with but none of the Hemi stuff is included in this auction! I had great ideas for this toy but things have changed and a Rat Rod isn’t on my current list of priorities. I’m even going to part with a few of my Mustang fastbacks, including my Q-code (428 Cobra Jet) Mach 1 in the near future. Always check my other auctions and mark me as a favorite seller to see what’s coming up for sale next. With that being said, DO NOT EMAIL ME asking ‘what I have’ for sale. I have 5 buildings full of Mustang, Torino, Cyclone, Cobra Jet, Shelby, Hemi and Mopar stuff. I will not make you a list of what I have or go searching for it. I will list it as I decide to, so just stay tuned. For some reason people always contact me asking to trade. This is Ebay, not ‘swap & shop’. I’m not interested in any trades (except a 19’ or larger center console boat worth over $6k. That should shut people up). I do have this truck listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time without notice. As for the reserve, it’s not far below the buy it now option.
