We just purchased this 1955 Ford F100 - "FAT FENDERED" - Short Box Pickup from the owner of the shop who has done all of our mechanic repairs for the last ten or so years and as you can clearly see in the pictures this truck was his pride and joy !! He is a master mechanic and has owned this truck for nearly thirty years and built it right for himself !! Like myself he went to high school in the seventies and this truck was built like we used to build them back then !! Thousands of dollars and many hours of work have been spent on this "OLD SCHOOL - HOT ROD" - 1955 Ford F100 Short Box Pickup ! It still retains its ORIGINAL Ford glove box door mounted data plate shown in a picture below !! This truck is sound and in WONDERFULL shape and is a NICE - DRY - High Mountain Desert Idaho - Western truck which NEVER fails to turn heads. This Classic Truck shows and runs very well. It has a VERY STRONG - "GROUND POUNDING" - 327 CID V8 Motor in it that originally came out of a 1968 Chevrolet Impala. It was completly - professionally rebuilt and has a 3/4 Crane performance cam - Edelbrock Street Performance aluminum heads - Edelbrock Corvette performance low plain intake manifold - Dual Edelbrock performance four barrell carbs - Dual stainless Steel Velocity Stacks - Dual chrome air cleaner housings - Gear Drive Timing Components - Dual stainless steel flame scripted custom valve covers - High voltage MSD electronic ignition - chrome alternator - chrome firewall and a nice custom - "Throaty" (LOUD) - dual exhaust system with custom headers and chrome tips that look and sound great and it runs AWESOME. Your friends will surely hear you coming when you lay the hammer down on this BEAST !! The engine is backed by a smooth - Turbo 350 - three speed automatic transmission that has been professionally rebuilt with a shift kit with red racing clutches in it and a 3000 rpm stall converter all of which function very well. The rear end is originally from the same 1968 Chevrolet Impala as the engine came from. It also has a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro front clip with POWER STEERING and POWER BRAKES and a 1973 Cadillac tilt sterring colunm. When this beast hooks up you better hold on !! This truck was built to be a street machine and is VERY EASY to drive on the street. The odometer reads 18,458 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !! The Medium Gray and Black interior is in nice shape including a NICE Medium Gray Cloth seat, NICE Black custom door panels with the blue oval Ford scripting, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, VERY NICE aftermarket guage cluster, NICE custom chrome glove box and ashtray doors, VERY NICE aftermarket tachometer with red shift warning light, VERY NICE custom chrome flamed steering wheel, good Black headliner and good Black carpeting. It has a VERY STRONG - "GROUND POUNDING" - 327 CID V8 Motor in it that originally came out of a 1968 Chevrolet Impala. It was completly - professionally rebuilt and has a 3/4 Crane performance cam - Edelbrock Street Performance aluminum heads - Edelbrock Corvette performance low plain intake manifold - Dual Edelbrock performance four barrell carbs - Dual stainless Steel Velocity Stacks - Dual chrome air cleaner housings - Gear Drive Timing Components - Dual stainless steel flame scripted custom valve covers - High voltage MSD electronic ignition - chrome alternator - chrome firewall and a nice custom - "Throaty" (LOUD) - dual exhaust system with custom headers and chrome tips that look and sound great and it runs AWESOME. Your friends will surely hear you coming when you lay the hammer down on this BEAST !! The engine is backed by a smooth - Turbo 350 - three speed automatic transmission that has been professionally rebuilt with a shift kit with red racing clutches in it and a 3000 rpm stall converter all of which function very well. The rear end is originally from the same 1968 Chevrolet Impala as the engine came from. It also has a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro front clip with POWER STEERING and POWER BRAKES and a 1973 Cadillac tilt sterring colunm. When this beast hooks up you better hold on !! This truck was built to be a street machine and is VERY EASY to drive on the street. The odometer reads 18,458 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !!
