• The manual convertible top mechanism works, the original BECKER "Grand Prix" radio works, the power windows work (they move a little slow), the A/C works and its ice cold, the analog clock works (keeps correct time), the manual mirrors work, all the gauges work, all the lights work, and more!
• What doesn't work: The cruise control. That's it!
• This classic Benz hardly has any oil leaks and is mechanically very sound. We have maintained it for about a year at our dealership here in Virginia (prior to that the brother had the car since new in California where it was maintained) and the owner has numerous service receipts!
• This Benz has a current May/2013 VA State Inspection!
• The paint is glossy and looks pretty good, but does have multiple scratches and chips on the left side and the trunk lid (see sample pic of the worst paint scratches below). The right side of the car and the hood look very good. The body itself is straight with no dings or dents!
• This car needs nothing to drive and enjoy today!
• Original Mercedes Red (Rot) Metallic Exterior Paint Color (resprayed in 2010) w/Tan Interior!
• The interior looks pretty good all over with only minor blemishes, like a couple missing or broken plastic trim pieces, some deterioration og the soft top headliner (no leaks), some light carpet stains and worn spots, and a 2" tear in the vinyl covering of the driver's door panel. Other than these items, the interior is very nice!
• This car needs no mechanical work to drive anywhere except for the aforementioned cruise control issue.
• Looks good inside and out, but runs and drives great, so bid now and bid often to win this NO RESERVE auction!!!
