I'm selling my 1967 Beetle. It is a solid car, gets 40 MPG, and has given me no troubles until recently when the flywheel came loose. I would fix it myself and hold onto it, but I do not have the resources to perform the work. Being a full time student and a full time employee, I have no spare time to put into the car. Other than the flywheel being loose, the passenger floorboard needs pushed up and wielded back into place before I would advise carrying passengers. An easy repair, but I've never had the time to perform the labor. I have a trunk load of parts that will go with the car, and I have also provided a list of what I have done to it. Parts Included: E-brake cable, chrome E-brake handle, engine head studs, oil pump, a pair of headlight assemblies w/ chrome, original working radio, original muffler, hot rod T- style bumpers w/ license plate mount, original taillight bulb holders, original shifter knob, 2 instruction manuals, 2 parts catalogs, an old set of wires, a distributor cap, and a rotor, a new clutch disk, chrome suspension covers, and a heater tube (car requires 2). Parts installed (all parts are NEW unless otherwise noted): Windshield w/ gasket, custom radio w/ 500 watt subwoofer (used), both rear brake cylinders, passenger side brake lines, rear driver side brake drum (used), throttle cable, E-brake button, headlight assemblies w/ glass, taillight bulb holders, generator (used), voltage regulator, turn signal flasher, battery, glove box, speaker (used), clutch disk, engine lid spring, antenna, original bumpers, aftermarket GT exhaust, driver side axle seal, T- handle shifter knob, fuel lines, modern valve components (car can use unleaded gas), Custom Centerline rims and tires (used), and shifter bushings. Labor performed w/ time performed: -Engine fully rebuilt w/ new camshaft, bearings, and crankshaft gears: 4 months ago -Refilled transmission fluids: 8 months ago -Alignment: 9 months ago -Re-packed front wheel bearings and all joints: 2 months ago -Re-tuned engine, clutch, and all brakes: 3 weeks go (just before flywheel issue) -Adjusted valves, replaced spark plugs, and wires: 4 weeks ago. I have done a lot of work on the car with the intention of keeping it for a long time, but my situation is forcing me to sell it. It's a solid car that will need very little to get it back on the road. I cannot transport or arrange transport for the vehicle; sorry for the inconvenience.
