This is a rare 1987 Bertone X1/9. I purchased the car from the second owner 2 years ago with approx. 9600 miles on it. It is in great condition for a car of this age. Runs and shifts great, no transmission problems at all and Air Conditioning works fine. Pioneer AM/FM/WMA/MP3/AAC/CD also includes a Boss 600 sub behind the passenger seat. I have replaced all belts including the timing belt since I have had it. Also new Sumitomo HTR 200 185/60/13 tires when I purchased it, as the original tires, still on it, were dry rotted. All interior and exterior lights on the car except for the headlights have been replaced with LED versions of the bulbs and a relay has been added to the low beam circuit to help preserve the hard to find headlight switch these cars have. Also replaced during my first year with it were the water pump and alternator due to noisy bearings from the infrequent use the car had received from the previous owner. Fuel pump was replaced last fall due to a leak. Valves were also adjusted last fall. Car has the original paint and could use some help in this area as there are some chips, scratches and a few dings, maybe hail, I don't really know. All of the normal rust areas on this model seem to be ok and as far as I know the car hasn't been driven during the winter and for the most part stored inside. The reason I am selling, is that I have just purchased a new Fiat 500 and only have one garage space.
