This 1961 Buick Skylark was a 1 owner car when I got it 3years ago from the original owner who got it as a graduation gift. It had been sitting in a shed for about 25 yrs. and it needed alot of tlc.Here is a partial list of what I put into it since;all new brake system,carburator,tires,shocks,fuel pump,water pump,head gasket,coil,plugs&wires,brake switch,exhaust system (dual exhaust now),and numerous misc.parts.The body is incredibly straight but the paint did nothold up Primer looks good.It's a shame not to paint it,but I don't want put any more money into it.Other stuff I put into it; new stereo ipod & cd,tack,oil pressure temp,& voltmeter.Car has original AM radio that still works. Car is rust free & solid. speedometer has 42000 on it 'owner saib speedo didn't work for a while,it has been working perfectly since I had it and when you look at the brake & gas pedals there is not much wear.I've been using this as a daily driver.Questions--tbrdjim@aol.com.
