Hi,the car that is for sale is my wifes car,this is a 1999 convertible,the last of the old shape and i think one of the best colors you can get metalic blue. The car has high milage but drives great and has never gave us any problems on the mechanic side.the engine sounds good and strong,the automatic transmission shifts the way it should and drives good.Car had new discs and brake pads.at the begining of year.As you can see on pics all 4 tires have atleast 75/80% tread on them. Body-The body work is in good condition apart for the 2 pics shown a small 3 inch where the paint is lifting of the back bumper.there is also a 2 inch on the top of the door,where it is sun bleached on same door there is a dime size mark where someone dicided to bump a shopping trolley into it.In the last 6 weeks we have developed a problem with the convertible top you press the button and it makes a sound as if it is going to go down but it dosent,there is a noise from the back as if its trying,althougth i am not a mechanic it sounds as if it is off alignment with something,might be an easy thing to fix. Interior-the interior is in reasonable conditon maybe could do with a good clean as it is a light gray color,The drivers seat has the usual problem for most Bmws a few years older, the bolster at the door side needs to be repaded .the carpet on drivers side at pedals has worn away a nice set of floor mats will solve that problem.you have got to take into consideration this is a 1999 car and has so will not pe in perfect condition,but with a little TLC this could be a great looking convertible.
