This 1970 Ghibli is priced to sell as fully restored show cars of this year and model are going for around $100-$125,000 here in the us and $125-$150 in Europe. Someone cannot get hurt as they can purchase it as a "driver" and not have to put any money into it or freshen up the paint and chrome and still have it come in well under the $100k mark. This rapidly appreciating, Giugiaro designed Maserati Ghibli coupe, with less than 34,000 miles (54647 kilometers) is for sale. The Ghibli was named one of automobile magazine's "25 most beautiful cars ever" with its sleek exterior design accompanied by the interior's wood steering wheel and toggle switch dash. Equipped with a 4.7 l engine and a 5-speed gear box, no other automobile has the distinct sound of a Ghibli. Garaged in southern California since I purchased it in 1995 and previously maintained and owned by the world famous Maserati dealer "Bob Grossman". This Ghibli is in good condition as a reliable "driver". Features: My opinion as to the condition of the 1970 Ghibli that is offered for sale as-is: Runs strong and clutch is great with about 4,000 miles on it. Paint was a reprint from previous owner and has a few nicks (near gas fill and RT front wheel well area and worn spot on left front fender) overall good condition with a nice shine as shown in pictures. Lower panel of doors and at seam of hood has a slight paint bubble. Chrome in fair condition without rust. AC disconnected since I purchased it. Heater appears to be working and never used. All gages are European and are operating. Clock was disconnected by previous owner. Directional and stop lights are working. Headlights are working. RT window motor not working (new motor comes with car not installed). New stainless steel exhaust supplied buy not installed. Factory exhaust performs well and sounds great as it is. Windshield wipers removed however supplied with car. Tires have less than 3,000 miles on them Spare appears to be used original. Original tire tools and bag. Bag has a tear in it. Rims appear to be original painted. Interior was redone by previous owner. New material for original "mouse hair" dash supplied but not installed. Aftermarket racing seat belts installed. Old style radio/cd player with removable face installed New battery. Air cleaner hose original and worn. Windshield washer bottle missing. Oil plug wrench supplied. Extra oil filter supplied. Manuals supplied. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early or to cancel bids solely at my disgression and shall not be held liable for cancellation.
