This is a rare opportunity to purchase the most inexpensive super car in the country! In 1988 Porsche debuted the special edition 944 Turbo S and it was an instant hit. Due to the strong demand for the '88 Turbo S, in 1989 Porsche decided to eliminate the regular 944 Turbo only sell the 944 Turbo S (but labeled as the 944 Turbo). This car was based off the Porsche 944 Turbo Cup car and was as fast or faster than the '89 911 Turbo. The '89 944 Turbo has world class speed and handling. In fact the vast majority of these cars have been turned into weekend race cars and they are getting incredibly hard to find. Only 1,385 were imported into the US in 1989. > The condition of this car is 9 out of 10! > Only 63,567 miles! > I am the second owner and have babied this car from the day I bought it (2003). Please rest assured that the minor repairs were done by the local body shop which the Porsche dealership uses and all replacement parts were OEM from Germany (had to wait a month for them to be shipped to the US). You can't tell that anything happened. The damage was all cosmetic and never affected the drivablity of the vehicle. Please review the pictures showing the repaired drivers front left side (damage included: dented drivers quater panel, headlight assembly and hood). This car runs and drives like a dream. Razor sharp in the corners and very smooth at speed. The '89 944 Turbo is the best bang for the buck as you won't get Super Car speed and handling for a better price.
