Hello All, For sale is our 1987 VW Cabrio Karmann First $3500 takes it! NADA books at $3975 We love this little car and have enjoyed using it over the two summers we have owned it. However, the convertible has proved too much for my allergies. This was purchased from an auto interior restorer - he purchased it and decided it did not need restoring- I agree it is in beautiful condition! We have put about 2000 miles over two summers on it. The odometer shows just over 102,000. It is in amazing condition for it's age, I would guess it has been garaged it's entire life. There are four little dings in the passenger side back panel (See picture) not sure how they got there? Other than that - it's beautiful. I would drive this car anywhere! Condition: No rust, the paint is in great shape (little fading on the hood). Even the underside is clean, please see the picture of the exhaust- super clean. The top is original and just needs a good scrub. The interior is in great condition as well. The seats, side panels and carpet are very clean! Custom VW floor mats are included. Mechanical: This little car is a runner! We have never had a problem with it. Air runs very cold and the factory radio works. All gauges seem to work as they should. Tires are newer and the wheels are shiny and new. Manual Transmission shifts smooth and is a treat to drive. Anything wrong?: The dings in the passenger panel please see the photo. There are small cracks in some of the interior trim pieces. The trunk air shock no longer holds the truck open. Very thin scratch on the hood about 4"2 Very, very small nicks in the windshield.
