This is a very reliable, very basic car that gets excellent gas mileage with 130,108 miles. It does not have all the "bells and whistles" of today's cars. I've been the owner for about the last 40,000 miles and get around 35 mpg, (highway) regularly, usually better!!! I've kept regular maintenance and additionally have replaced the water pump, alternator, exhaust, battery, and had new tires put on ( less than 2,000 miles on the tires ). When I got the car, the transmission "shifted hard" at times and the problem could never be pin pointed, so it hasn't been fixed. I have used this car traveling for work, it has been from Chicago to Atlantic City, Cleveland to Baton Rouge and points in between and the "hard shifting" hasn't caused any more issues and isn't even noticeable on the highway (most of my driving). Currently, the only issue I am aware of that needs immediate fixing is the brakes. This vehicle has not left my driveway in 6 months, it has been started and ran regularly, but not driven. I would suggest the winning bidder NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE HOME as a precaution !!!!!! The A/C runs but DOES NOT blow "ice cold" air, however last summer it did. I am not aware of any other mechanical issues. As the pictures will show, the clear coating is coming off in places (passenger side, just below windows, front to back) and there is some staining on the seat covers and floor mats (which I bought after market and can easily be replaced).
