All original South Carolina 1972 Gran Torino Station Wagon. It has not been restored, reconditioned, modified except for replacement parts. Even the carpet is original! There is NO rust out on vehicle. As far as I can determine there is no repaint or sheet metal repairs anywhere on the vehicle except for the rear passenger well, which was repaired with metal from a CA donor vehicle, due to an improperly factory installed rear window/tailgate weatherstrip when the car was built in ATLANTA. . The belts, heater hoses, water pump, spark plugs, front brake (flexible) lines and dash pad have been replaced. Except for maintenance items, the engine is all original including carburetor (rebuilt), coil and alternator. This car was in the February 2011 issue of Collectible Automobile featuring 1972 up TORINOs. The car runs and drives great and was driven from South Carolina to New Hampshire with no problems. It is a 40 year old automobile whose condition is the equivalent of a 6 year old used car based on the mileage and appearance.
