The car is currently residing here in Pasadena , CA. The vital information is that this car is a very complete and mostly original example of the Porsche family. The exterior paint on this Porsche is in very good condition. The car was repainted at some point and it still retains a very high quality finish. The car looks to been Z-Barted ( early dealers rust prevention) at some time during its early life. It did a very good job preventing any rust in this car. The interior of the car is black and All original. The clock does not seem to work. It did come with a factory Blaupunk AM raid which works well. The door pockets are in very good condition considering it’s age. The window rubbers look to be in very good condition also. There are a few cracks in the upholstery. One is on the drivers door elbow rest, and the other are in the typical dash areas as shown in the pictures provided. The speaker grill also has a few cracks. I will offer to fix all of this for the new owner providing the bid is adequate to cover this repair. By this I am referring to the fact that the front windshield needs to be removed to take the dash out then it need to be taken apart and redone. Carpet seems to be original as do the seat vinyl. This car does have rear seat belts. The motor runs very well. We check compression and all cylinders appear to be within factory tolerances. The 912 does have a small oil leak. The tires are new and the chrome wheels are date coded correct. Transmission shifts very smooth and the brakes work well. Shocks seem to function well also. All lights appear to be working well and vintage to this year car. The spare tire is a factory steel wheel and comes with the toolkit I received from P.O. I would invite ALL bidders to bid knowledgably and PPI’s are welcomed at bidders expense. Owner makes NO warranty’s and this Porsche is bought in as is condition.
