This is a 1978 Plymouth Volare station wagon that my uncle bought new in 1978. It was bought and drove in Louisville Kentucky up until I recieved it from my aunt in 2007. Due to my aunt not being able to drive anymore I brought it to Michigan where I live in 2007. It just gets drivin in the summer months and stored inside in the winter months. It has the window sticker in the glove box and repair receipts for various kinds of repairs done to it since 1978. The drivers seat has some tears in it. I just put two new tires on the front. The brakes were done last year and work well. The car runs and drives well. They is a dent in the back bumper where my aunt backed into a pole . The AC needs work. The car has 78,824 original miles on it. I have known this car since it was new. Most of the miles on the car were put on driving around Louisville, with the ocaitional trip to Indiana or Illinios. It does not burn oil either. The receipts I have in the glove box go back to 1988. Starting with a tune up from percision tune on 6-8-88 with 42,511. On 6-9-88 it had a Midas muffler installed on it at 42,517. On 7-28-88 it had two tires installed on it at Chevron at 42,922 miles on it. On 3-12-90 it had two tires installed on it at Chevron at 47,700 miles. On 10-12-95 It was at Tire America for a whell alignment with 56,000 miles on it. On 5-27-98 It was at Seeburger Chevrolet-Oldsmobile for service work with 60,375 . On 6-5-98 it was at Bill Etscorn auto center for some service work at 61, 259. On 11-11-99 it was at MVP Valvoline instant oil change at 62,184 miles. On 8-7-2001 It was at Bill Etscorn auto center for sevice work with 63,452 miles on it. And the last one, It was at Goodyear auto service center on 2-22-03 with 63,945 miles on it. When I recieved it from my aunt in 2007 it had 64,000 miles on it. The rest of the mileage I have put on it. I do my own repair work so I don't have documention after the 64,000 miles to the 78,000 miles .The insurance that I have on it only lets me put up to 2,500 miles a year, in which I have it out from the second week in May to the first week in November. The rest of the months it is stored inside out of the weather.
