Vehicle Detail
First let me say how aggravating it is how vehicle history reports work. About 3 years ago my wife wife bumped someone at a traffic light in Opelika, AL. There was a police report, so I'm assuming that's what caused the "issue found" on the report. However, it did not result in damage or repair work to the vehicle. I guess there's no consideration to whether or not the vehicle was actually damaged when those reports are generated. I am the 2nd owner and I've had this vehicle close to 4 years. I bought it when it had around 58,000 miles and it has been adult driven. I just bought my wife a Chevy Suburban to replace it because we wanted the extra cargo room and rear captains chairs. I do not have a loan on the vehicle, it is paid for with title in hand. This vehicle is in EXCELLENT mechanical condition. 4 wheel drive works fine. I would also consider it near perfect cosmetically for its age. I included a summary of my maintenance records in the photos. I've followed the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual and kept all records. Oil change and tire rotation has occurred every 5,000 miles, and I replaced the timing belt and water pump at 93,031 miles which cost somewhere around $1,200, the local Toyota dealer did the work. I put Good Year tires on it at 81,389 and they are still in good shape. You can look at the list for the other things I've done, but the vehicle has really had no surprises, just routine maintenance and I'm sure it's got a lot of life left in it. It does not burn oil. The only negative thing I know to report is that one of the doors has been repainted. You can't tell looking straight at it, but at an angle, and with the right light, you can see signs of the paint work. I've never had anybody notice it but if you're picky like me, you may catch it so I thought I'd disclose it. I'm not sure why it was painted, it was done by the previous owner. It had a clear car fax report when I bought it and no signs of damage and it's been accident free since I've owned it (except for what I described above). I'm sure you may find a scratch or chip here or there since it is 8 years old, but nothing significant enough for me to bring up. Bottom line it's a great vehicle and I hate to see it go. It needs absolutely nothing but a new owner. Good Luck!
