Vehicle Detail
VW Volkswagon Bus - Westfalia Camper Edition Year: 1977 Condition: Used Engine: None Gearbox: 4 Speed Installed Title: Texas title clear. Title is in my name. Detail: We view this bus as a limited edition bus and a very good restoration project. This camper has the side vent adjustable windows and the Westfalia camper interior including a stove, sink, cabinets, upper bed, and couch. Interior - The camper portion of the interior is in good to very good condition. The only portion on the camper interior that I know is missing seems to be the table pole. The front seats need recovering but structurally seem very solid and they are original seats. The upper bed is in very good condition. Engine: None, the original engine had a valve failure and was removed a while back. Transmission: Original gearbox is still installed with the axles. Body: The front nose and bumper of the bus has damage (see pics). For a restoration the nose would need to be cut out and replaced. It looks like they bumped the front mounted spare into something. The driver and passenger doors have been replaced with very good solid doors. The sliding door and rear hatch work very well. The glass is good but the old tinting is peeling off. There is a repairable crease dent in the rear door. The main floor of the bus is very solid; the only corrosion found is under the driver’s feet. A small amount of metal needs to be replaced there. Camper fiberglass roof – The roof fiberglass overall is very solid. The hinges and arm which elevate the roof work fine. The roof tent material has a front tear which is repairable. Overall it is still usable. Wheels – Original bus wheels. Tires are good for shipping the bus by trailer or car carrier. Misc – No radio, Overall this is a very good restoration project. It has various little dings, and small parts missing, but it is impossible to name and show everyone. We can provide additional pictures or answer questions. EBay only allows a certain number of photos in the ad. Shipping to be arranged by the buyer. The buyer arranged shipping by car carrier means the carrier picks up the car at our warehouse. We will assist in loading and we will provide the carrier with the title and bill of sale. Local pickup is available after the transaction closes. International Buyers: Please do not ask RMW to reduce the customs valuation amount. We list the sale price (value) on the documentation. Thank You, Retro Motor Works.
