THE BUILDER WAS THINKING ABOUT RELIABILITY ON THIS ONE. THE BODY IS IN NICE CONDITION... NOT RUSTY, BUT SHOWS SOME BUMPS AND BRUISES LIKE A TRUCK SHOULD! THE RUNNING BOARDS ARE THE ROUGHEST PART OF THE TRUCK.... THE REST VERY PRESENTABLE. STARTING WITH THE CHASSIS, A MUSTANG II IFS FRONTEND WAS INSTALLED AND THE REAR WAS 4 LINKED. ALL SUSPENSION IS PROVIDED BY A CUSTOM AIR SETUP FROM AIR RIDE THEMSELVES. AIR RIDE FOUR LINK AND A DIGITAL AIR RIDE CONTROLLER WAS USED IN THE BUILD. THE POWERPLANT IS A CHEVY 350 CID V8 BACKED BY A TH350 TRANSMISSION AND A 9 INCH FOR REAR. THE PICKUP HAS POWER STEERING AND DISC BRAKES. ON THE INSIDE THE TRUCK WAS FITTED WITH A STREET ROD SEAT AND COVERED IN TRADITIONAL BLACK AND WHITE VINYL WITH A FACTORY CARPET KIT AND HEADLINER. THE VENT WINDOWS WERE REMOVED AND A 1 PIECE GLASS INSTALLED. THE GAUGES ARE DOLPHIN BRAND AND ALL ARE WORKING. A REALLY COOL TALL LOKAR SHIFTER AND A BILLET STEERING COLUMN WAS USED IN THE BUILD ALSO. RELIABILITY WAS A MUST SO A NEW AFTERMARKET WIRING HARNESS WAS USED.
