VIN: 351591 Color Code: Irish Green Engine Number: 831937 Welcome. You are bidding on a factory Numbers Matching European model 1965 Porsche 912. I have a clean title to this car ready to handoff to its new owner. I have taken about 60 pictures of the car and a video of it running. It has since been repainted black. This car was sold new in Europe and still has the original metal dealer tag riveted in the rear engine compartment. I have taken a photo of it. Since this car spent time in Europe and subjected to rougher weather conditions this car did have some rust. The floor pans were replaced, but it was not that good of a repair job. I have a new set of factory floor panels that are included with this car. The driver side door does have some rust along the bottom, but a solid rust free replacement door is included as well. This car has nice lines and looks sharp. Interior: The interior of this car is in presentable condition. It still has its original crack free dash, original seats, original gauges, and rubber floor mats. Engine/Transmission: This car has its original European Engine that starts right up. I was told that the engine was rebuilt in the past, but I do not have any documents that are proving this. The engine sounds great and revs smoothly. I would recommend a quick service prior to taking it on a long drive. The 5spd transmission shifts through the gears smoothly, however the linkage it a bit sloppy. Suspension/Wheels/Brakes: This car still has 5 of the original Lemmerz date stamped wheels of 11.65. The suspension to this car is original and feels solid. The brakes on the car should be redone. The car has been sitting for a little while and tend to hang up here and there. Overall: This is a very good chance to get into an original 1965 numbers matching 912 coupe. This would make a great car to restore, keep as a driver, or use as vintage race car. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
