Vehicle Detail
This is a great little car! I Purchased this car back when gas hit $1.60 a gallon for the first time (early 2000's). It gets a consistent 40 mpg. , has great acceleration, solid clutch and a short throw shifter = fun to drive as you pass the filling station. My daughter stole it from me when she turned 16 and has driven it to school and work for the last 6 years. She's ready for a larger ride and we can't afford to keep an extra car on the insurance policy. The CRX has been the most dependable vehicle that I have ever owned. It just runs and runs. It has been maintained regularly. I've replaced the timing belt and struts. The only known problems it has is that the AC doesn't work ,(hasn't worked for 8 years), but could be fixed if someone were inclined to spend the money for a new compressor, etc. also the inside climate control panel is cracked (typical of all CRX's), and the gas struts that hold the hatchback up are shot. They can be purchased at any auto parts store. It is mostly all original, (no major mods), except for the cold air intake, aluminum rims and tail light assembly. The paint is faded but I don't notice any rust anywhere. It has had two minor mishaps as pictured. My friend backed into the rear end which cracked the bumper cover and my daughter bumped the front right corner which busted the lower running light. Otherwise the body is in exceptional condition for it's age and mileage. That's about it - if you have any questions or want any pictures of something other that what is listed just ask. Oh yea, The stereo come with this one - no hole in the dash where a stereo once sat. It's a JVC, I think, with two Lightning Audio, (Rockford Fosgate), amps, 6 speakers + tweeters, and a JLAudio 10" in a bandpass box for a little "bump in the trunk." oh, and a real equalizer custom mounted under the headset. Nothing exotic, just decent sound. :) Please e-mail w/?'s $500. due within three days of auction close and the balance due in cash upon pickup. No reserve - the high bidder drives this home. Happy Bidding! In response to a couple of questions: The car is located in High Springs, Fl . Just 5 miles off of I-75 in North Central Fl. It does have all of the interior pieces (covers) in tact as pictured. eBay defined this listing as a HF model and I'm quite sure it's a DX model. The major difference being multi-port vs. dual port fuel injection. The HF is more fuel efficient. At 40+ miles per gallon though - who really cares what initials are behind it? :) Anyway, I'm calling it a DX model as it doesn't have the "High Fuel Efficient" multi-port injection that the HF model has. Same engine in both. D.
