1953 Ford F100 short bed pickup truck. 59 year old vintage Silver Anniversary Editon surviver. This is a project truck that has been in storage for many years and needs total restoration but has great potential because although not perfect the body is very solid and very straight and even with considerable surface rust which should clean up quite easily this truck has a great body. Damage to the body consists of a light dent in the left front fender, a light dent in the tailgate, and the hood needs some work where the hinges attach. There is some through rust on the truck, in the left front fender, both running boards, in the bed on the bottom front and left side, and in the cab corners. The through rust is not that extensive and in my opinion and could be repaired with minimal effort and without replacing any full body panels. This is a factory flathead V8 truck with the 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. The drive train is still in the truck but the engine is locked up and will not turn over and the engine is missing some pieces like the intake and carburator and I am sure there are more. The odometer shows 59,000 miles but that would be anybodys guess on actuallity. The insturment cluster is in tact, and it appears the truck has never had a radio in the dash. There is no floor mat in the truck and the seat needs to be redone and the floor is also very solid. The glass is decent for it's age, windshield has some fogging and bubbling around the edges and the right door glass is missing. The wood floor in the bed has rotted and is gone, and although the slats for the wood are still there they will probably need to be replaced. I do not have the front bumper. If you have been looking for one of these old Ford trucks that is original and has not been hacked up, modified, or disassembled then this may be the one. The truck comes with a good Missouri title and is sold "as is where is". The buyer will be responsible for all transportation cost if required. I have tried to describe this old truck to the best of ability but have probably missed something that you would like to know, if so, just ask. If you would like to inspect the truck in person prior to the end of the auction again just ask and arrangements will be made.
