UP FOR BID - A 1990 5.0 LX Ford Mustang . 1990 is the celebrated 25th anniversary year for the Mustang. Paint is original with original gray interior. Has actual 130 k miles. Selling it to help fund sending my son to college. It has never been modified or raced. Previous owner was original owner and I am the second owner. It is a very dependable driver. And only few minor flaws due to age. Has never been involved in an accident and has absolutely no rust. I have driven this car less than 700 miles since I bought it 2 years ago. It needs to go to a good "new" home now. This Mustang spent its life in and around Bakersfield, CA(dry climate/no salted roads) until I bought it and had it shipped to a local Top shop in Mtn. Home, AR. I bought this mustang two years ago (Apr.2010) and had the top replaced on May 12, 2010. Then while I worked out of town, the car sat in my garage until April of this year. I then replaced the timing gears and chain, radiator hoses, alternator, belt tensioner, serpentine belt, tuned it with platinum spark plugs and changed the oil/filter. It still didn't have the performance I believed it should for a 5.0 HO so I took it to the local Ford dealership and they replaced the fuel tank (had old fuel and some rust inside), fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator, MAF sensor, IAC valve, Throttle body, timing gear cover and flushed the fuel system with Ford brand solvent/procedure. Local exhaust shop replaced the H-pipe(off road type) both O2 sensors and both mufflers with 40 series Flowmasters. If it exceeds the reserve amount I will include a full set of new Sorenson 19# fuel injectors too(not installed). HAPPY BIDDING AND THANKS FOR VIEWING MY AUCTION!
