For sale is my 1992 Mazda Miata. I am the 4th owner of this car. It has the 1.6 liter engine and a 5 speed manual trans. It has 34,103 original miles. It has no AC or power steering ( the car was originally power steering equipped but the pump was removed to convert the system to manual steering - this is a common upgrade - the car steers very easy with the manual steering due to its light weight & tiny size). I purchased the car 3 years ago from the owner that installed the BEGi S1 from Bell Engineering. Due to a back injury, I have barely been able to use the car since I purchased it - that is why it is now for sale. The car had the following upgrades performed by the previous owner: the BEGi S1 turbo system, an APEX-i N1 Evolution cat back exhaust system (with high flow cat), and a 10lb flywheel with 6 puck clutch. Hers's the link to Bell Engineering & the S1 turbo kit: http://www.bellengineering.net/product_info.php?cPath=5_11_49&products_id=241 The previous owner installed the turbo kit & the other upgrades at approx 29,000 miles - only 5000 miles on the car since the upgrades. The car runs very strong - has a nice surge when the turbo spools up and the car is on boost. Overall the car is in very nice condition but it does have some minors dents, scratches, and imperfections in the paint - there's a couple of dents in the driver's side front fender, a dent in the flip up gas cap, and a dent in the passenger side top rear quarter panel (next to the trunk lid), a minor dent in the nose of the hood (looks like perhaps someone sat on the hood - it may just need an adjustment) along with some minor paint imperfections on various parts of the body - it hasn't been abused but it is a 20 year old vehicle. The body and chassis are super nice with no rust issues. There is some surface rust & oxidation on some parts of the suspension but nothing out of the ordinary. The interior of the car is also in very nice condition. The soft top is only 2 years old I have not done anything special to prep the car for sale. If you give the car a good detailing, it will look even better. Once again, overall this is a very nice car. I am including A LOT of photos so you can get a good idea of the condition of this car. Towards the bottom of the photos I have included close-ups of the areas of the body with minor issues. I also have a # of new/rebuilt & used parts that come with the car. I have a brand new BEGi Stainless Steel downpipe for the turbo system ( the one on the car is mild steel - there's no performance difference, just the SS pipe won't rust), rebuilt front calipers for a 1.8 liter Miata with the appropriate mounting brackets (this will allow you to use the larger rotors from the 1994 & up 1.8 liter miata - another common upgrade for these cars), a rebuilt steering rack assembly, new rear brake rotors, a used set of rear brake calipers, and front and rear suspension assemblies from a 1994 Miata (I bought these complete for the brake upgrade parts & to have spares). The installation manual for the turbo system is also included along with a Haynes shop manual. The cost of the BEGi S1 turbo system is currently $3195. The exhaust system, clutch & light weight flywheel were another $1000 - that's $4200 in upgrades. The new SS downpipe was $450 & the value of all of the other parts included is roughly $800 or more - that's another $1250. I am listing this car with NO RESERVE and a starting price that's a steal - $2500. I'm hoping I get a lot more than that but the highest bidder will own this car.
