The car has been setting in a concrete floor garage for over 30 years before i purchased it. Numbers matching. It has a 70's restoration. The undercarriage is extremely solid and NO RUST. The only rust issue it has is a small rust hole in the rear of the front drivers fender well. The body is not show condition but is in decent shape. its a good foundation to do a restoration. The engine runs great especially after i replaced out the dual strombergs (had new rebuild kits and go with the car). They were finicky and i could never get them adjusted correctly. Therefore, I replaced them with a 2 barrel rochester carb. It made the car accellerate well. I replaced the pitted intake and exhaust valves, performed a valve job, installed an electronic Pertronix distributer, coil, slave clutch and clutch master cylinder, hot tanked and lined the fuel tanks, hoses and other stuff i won't mention here. The braking system is totally rebuilt too with new caliper pistons and seals, brake booster rebuild kit, brake shoes and pads. The interior has new carpet, horn ring, & shifter knob. the convertible top is white and was new from the previous owner - no holes or tears in the top. it comes with the interior cover, original tire pump and jack. As you can see, I've worked on this car to make it driveable...that was my goal. next step is to restore and paint. I've been driving it to work all week and will continue to do so in good weather until it is sold. Its a fun little car...i like it alot...but I'm too big for it. I had originally bought it for my wife but she has more interest in newer cars. It's not doing me or the car any good sitting at my place. The car deserves a good owner. it really is in good shape for its age. I prefer to deal with Paypal as far as payment is concerned. Happy bidding!
