RARE This is a 2005 Mazda MX-5 Mazdaspeed. Mazda produced only 1428 of these in 2005, and only 4000 the year prior in 2004. The Mazdaspeed is not just a Turbo equipped Miata, It is a specially tuned version at the Mazdaspeed facility in Japan equipped with a factory turbocharger, intercooler, bilstein performance suspension, stabilizer bars, and perfectly mated 6 spd. close ratio gearbox. The vehicle was tuned/balanced so that all parts work together perfectly. If you are looking for an economical sports car that will put a HUGE smile on your face everytime you drive it, you have found it. My wife and I have commented many times that even mundane tasks across town become way more entertaining. This car is in great shape, the leather seats are what I would call perfect, there is no little broken parts inside that you see on a lot of older cars, everything is intact and works great, from the AC, to the Heater, the Bose sound, 6 CD changer, etc. All interior functions work, and work great. The speakers are in great shape, and sound perfect. I do not notice any rattles, which blows me away, I have had new vehicles with more rattles than this car, Maybe it's because there is less there to rattle, but I have to hand it to Mazda, what a great job! The top is in perfect shape inside and out, and the rear defroster works perfectly. This is a glass rear window, and is perfect. The front windshield has no cracks, however there is a rockchip in it, but it was filled so I don't think that is anything to worry about. The top goes up and down manually, but one thing I love about this is you can sit at a stoplight, flip both clasps, and it is down in 5 seconds start to finnish, and I can reach back with one hand at a stoplight and lift the top back up and have it buckled in about as much time, I have never had to get out to put the top up. This car handles beautifully, all shocks are in great condition. It holds the road like velcro, but also isn't so rough where you are uncomfortable. Going over railroad tracks is well controlled and smooth enough where it doesn't make you even think twice about it. I have driven S2000's and Z4's where that is NOT the case. So again, I am very impressed by how well balanced this car is. The Paint I have been told is a Tri-coat pearl, and it really is beautiful in person, there is one little spot on the back deck of the car, in front of the trunk that I took a picture of, I think it was sap, and needs buffed, but I am not sure, so check the picture out. I took a picture of one of the rims that had some curb action, so you don't have a surprise when you see it in person. The engine runs awesome, and it was recently serviced so it is ready to go, with no leaks or issues of any kind Bid with confidence, this is a beautiful car.
