Vehicle Detail

Welcome. You are bidding on a very original 1967 Porsche 912 survivor. This car has a clean title ready to handoff to the new owner. I have a small folder of past documents, registration, services etc. This car would make a great restoration candidate or a fun patina driver. I can help arrange out of state or overseas shipping. Please email me or phone me at 925.876.1281 should you have any questions. Please click on the link below for about 60 additional pictures and video of the car running. http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/MrBMW2002/1967912coupee/ VIN: 460490 Color Code: 6602 Polo Red Engine Number: 752700 Exterior: This car has spent its life in Sunny California and the hot desert of Nevada. This car was originally Polo Red from the factory and still retains some of its original paint. It appears to have one repaint in the past, however due to the hot sunny climate the paint is rather faded and is in need of a repaint. This car shows no signs of any accidents and is a solid chassis. It does have one small area of rust by the rear window as shown in the pictures. This is a very dry chassis. It is complete with all glass, moldings, lights, lens, trim etc. Engine/Transmission: This car still retains is factory original numbers matching engine. The carbs have been upgraded to Weber’s. The engine fires right up and revs nicely. It could use a tune up before a long drive. The transmission shifts smoothly through all of its gears. The clutch feels solid and does not slip. Suspension/Wheels: This car has a firm ride to it. It handles steers properly and does not feel loose. This car still has its original date stamped steel wheels with hubcaps. It has a matching spare. Interior: The interior of this car is original as well. It has its original seats, carpets, rubber floor mats, gauges, door panels etc. There is an aftermarket plastic dash cover that has been put on and in my opinion it looks pretty bad. I would try to source an original dash. It has a very nice flat aluminum spoke wooden steering wheel. It adds a great look to the interior. Overall: This is a great chance to get into an early complete original 912. It still has its original battery cover and washer pump and bottle. As mentioned before this would be a great car to restore or keep as a patina driver. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
