As with any car with significant age, there are some known issues with the car and there may be other things that the seller doesn't know about. This is a used 2003 MINI Cooper. It has only had one owner, has never been in an accident, and has been kept in good condition but now requires some TLC to keep it going. This has been a daily driver for 9 years and very reliable. The leather interior is still in very good condition (except a small worn spot on the driver's seat - see pictures). The stereo has been upgraded and has an XM tuner (subscription required) and auxiliary input. The body is still in very good condition considering the age of the vehicle. There is a small ding on the passenger's door where someone in a parking lot opened his door and hit it. The trim from the front right wheel well is missing. This is NOT from an accident, but from a tire blow out, where the tire treads tore the trim from the wheel well. The windshield also has a crack across the middle (see pictures). The panoramic sunroof works nicely and has never leaked. The transmission slips in first gear but can be started from second gear. The cooling fan is no longer working. This may be the fan, a relay, or another issues. The root cause is unknown. The car can run within proper temperature levels as long as it is not left idling. The AC will not work without the cooling fan working. The airbag light is also on (unknown reason - see pictures). The car has over 200,000 miles and even though routine maintenance has been done on this car, there may be other items that also need reconditioning. Winning bidder must contact seller within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit (via PayPal) is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due in CASH upon pickup, which must be arranged to be within 7 days of Auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours seller reserves the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
