Vehicle Detail
1965 Mercedes-Benz 190-D Heckflosse body style in excellent condition. This is a two owner car (my Grandfather and myself). I am including all of the service records, two sets of keys - one with original Mercedes key fob, an extra set of beauty rings for the tires, all of the original service and owner manuals. This is an import from Germany and has the European turn signals and parking lights on each front side of the car. Interior in excellent condition with the exception of small crack on dash - covered by custom dash cover and the old plastic starter button has broken off but could be easily repaired or replaced and is included with car. Car engine in excellent condition and runs very well and gets excellent gas mileage. Some oxidation to the chrome bumpers. Heater, turn signals, headlights all work and new rubber seals have been added to front doors and trunk. Original Mercedes-Benz tools original to car are included. Car has been garage kept. Exterior paint and matching color hubcaps in great condition. I just can't keep her - so am hoping she will go to a good new home. Lots of extras included - oil filters and other misc. tools and accessories. Message me if you would like more information or pictures. All offers considered. Low reserve. Buyer responsible for pick up and delivery from my North Carolina home - will assist with international shipping or continental transit service. On Jun-12-12 at 17:03:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I have included more photos of the front and rear window seals - and they are in excellent condition, the original miles, from what I can gather from the services records, indicate 107,700 miles. I have included pictures of the engine - runs excellent and is what some Mercedes mechanics have described as "bullet proof". I have also included the best pictures I can take of the under carriage. There are also pictures of the door panel. There is repair/restoration to the back wheel wells - but the mechanic that has worked on this car for the past twenty years reports this standard to this model - but it has been repaired. I don't know of any other issues to the body - but I am not a Mercedes expert or a mechanic. It is most important that this car have a good home. Please email me with any other questions. On Jun-13-12 at 02:09:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine does have a block heater installed for cold weather starting but have not had to use it here in North Carolina.
