1965 Rambler American 2 door hard top. 232 six cylinder. Automatic trans on the column. I bought this about 8 months ago and drove it about 120 miles home. I've since done some things to the car like fix the wiring, coloumn was falling out of park and had that fixed, replaced front brake hoses for they were collapsing on me(front disc brakes from a latter model AMC). Things that still need fixed are the wiper moter needs hooked up(vacuum powered), brakes to the rear(busted brake line to the rear. I've been riding on just the front brakes, including the 100+ ride home), a power draw(will drain the battery if sits to long. Drove it every day or other day and had no problems). The car brings water in when it rains. I thought it was a leaky windsheild, but now I think its coming from the cowl, where air flows through to blast wind at your feet while going down the highway. There are a few small dents that were painted right over, but still looks great 20 feet away. Orange peel on the roof. Needs a new electric fuel pump. It's a good driver. The kind you won't get upset if someone leans on it. Either way, I figure I would lay out the bad so there are no suprises, for I hate when that happens to me when buying something online.
