Vehicle Detail
This sale is for a right hand drive 1972 - 73 MGB GT, Car was originally built in Sept of 1972. I purchased and brought it to the states in 2002. Yes that’s right, it’s a right hand drive MGB. Until 2009 it was a daily driver and work in progress. Now it’s just an eyesore. The car runs, but as with all British cars needs a tune up and an exhaust, recent botched paint job needs attention, and needs a new interior. It has the electric overdrive transmission which works. The car has 76K on the odometer and less than ten hours on the top end and carburetor. Due to divorce, lack of space, and lack of interest it needs to go!My priorities have changed and it’s time to sell as I need the space. Upgrades include 15” UK Center Knock off Mini-lite rims $1300 (MGOC.CO.UK) Upgraded V8 Front Suspension $400 w/ new Kingpins (Brit-tec & MGOC.CO.UK) 7/8” Front Sway bar $150 (Victoria British) Rear Suspension $200 (MG B-Hive UK) Unleaded Top End $600 (Brit-tec) Webber 34/36 Carb $335.95 (Brit-tec) Borg & Beck Clutch $255.95 (Victoria British) 13 Row oil cooler $75.00 Sebring Front and Rear Valance $200 (MGOC.CO.UK) Many extra parts including spare engine for rebuild (#4 piston damaged) Car has been sitting in my garage since June 2010 when I moved back to AZ. So it's time for it to go. Has clear Kansas title and the upgrades alone are worth the price! Yes it has all the common rust issues of a “British” car. Serious offers only More pictures on request.
