I bought this car three years ago and built it for my wife using all of the parts below. She lost interest in it very quickly and the car very rarely gets driven. I am listing the car with NO RESERVE because I no longer have garage space for it and refuse to let it sit outside. I had the motor and transmission rebuilt (see below for specs) when I purchased the car and have driven it approximately 2,000 miles over the past three years. Over the winter, I had the rear rebuilt using carbon fiber clutches in the posi unit and Motorsport 4.10 gears. The entire drivetrain in this car is basically brand new! I purchased this car for her because it was a nice four eye car and we wanted something a little different from the usual 87-93 style. The car was an “old lady” car when I bought it and it only has 31,xxx miles showing on the odometer. To the best of my knowledge, the miles are accurate. The interior is all original and everything works (including the diagnostic center in the center console). It is very rare to find one of these cars that everything still works! The car has always been adult driven and not beaten on. However, it has been to the track and has run a best of 12.25@ 110 mph. This car is a blast to drive, sounds awesome and always gets attention! This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time if it sells before the auction ends. Clean PA title in hand. Good luck bidding! The bad: · There is a small tear in the center console lid (included in pics). · The car was repainted prior to my purchase and it is not the best paint job. The car gets compliments all the time on how gorgeous it is, but I am very picky when it comes to paint. I would probably rate the paint a 7/8 out of 10. There are no major scratches, shines great, but has too much orange peel for my liking. · A piece of trim is broken around the shifter (included in pics) · Drivers side door needs to be adjusted. It is hard to close but never bothered me enough to fix it. The good: * Weld draglites. * Like new tires all the way around (less than 500 miles) 275/60/15 radials on rear. 165 radials on front. (Also have 26x11.5 et streets in good shape mounted on near perfect set of Draglites for an extra 300.00 if interested) * Boss Inc. 4 inch cowl hood (unpainted black gelcoat) Transmission: 2,000 miles C4 trans with forward pattern manual valve body by JPT. Alto red clutches. Servo upgraded. 3,200 stall Trans Specialties converter. Transmission Cooler. Factory shifter. Engine: 2,000 miles 1990 Ford 5.0 302 motor Ported GT-40p heads F-303 cam Edelbrock Performer Air-Gap Intake Holley 650 4150 double pumper carb. Motorsport valve covers. Misc.: Power steering removed (can be hooked back up if wanted). 3 core aluminum radiator with electric fan. MSD 6 al ignition box. MSD Blaster coil. MSD cap and rotor. Motorsport ignition wires. Motorsport 1 5/8 headers Off road H pipe Exhaust turn downs Rear: (approx. 150 miles since rebuild) Boxed upper and lower control arms – all new bushings. All bearings/ races replaced. Ford Motorsport 4.10 gear set Posi unit rebuilt using carbon fiber clutches (same used in 2003-2004 Cobras) 5 lug axles. Recent PA inspection. Motor oil just switched to Mobil 1. Mobil 1 used in transmission and rear. On Jun-10-12 at 17:20:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot in the original ad.....rear is an 8.8 Ford. Thanks.
