This is a beautiful FJ62 that is in near mint original condition. There are only a few of these left in this condition! I bought it from the original owners who were a Land Cruiser Family. They had an FJ100 and and had just bought a new one. There was no room left in the garage so they decided to sell. Look at the CARFAX and you will see this car was dealer maintained since new. It is a California car since new and has no rust or accident damage! The first owners tell me that the paint is factory original and is in near perfect condition. I think there are only two dime-sized door dings. Chrome trim is excellent, The rubber trim is shiny and pliable. The interior is just as nice. It had seat covers and a dash cover since new. The carpet, head liner and door panels are in great shape. Look at the pics!Mechanically the car is in great shape as well. I drove it almost daily for about a year - about 3500 miles. I drove it from Long Beach to Palms Springs several times in the 110 degree heat and it had no issues. The AC is ice cold! The trans shifts quickly and firmly. The engine compartment is what I call "an honest clean" It is not spotless but has never been detailed either. Just years of good maintenance and no issues. It is all original!There are only two issues I am aware of. One is the odometer. It hasn't worked for a few years. Mileage is estimated though it is probably lower. The pics should make it clear that this is not an issue. The second is that the rear passenger power door lock doesn't work. It is just the linkage because you can hear the solenoid. Bid with confidence. It is very difficult to find in this condition!I I think the starting price is a gift! This is easily a $10-15K Land Cruiser. I simply need the garage space for a new 65 Mustang Convertible I bought. I will help with shipping. On Jun-15-12 at 08:58:14 PDT, seller added the following information:I crawled underneath the truck to take some pics. They will be up later today. The car is rust free underneath. All frame rails and spring mounts are very clean. The skid plates are intact without any dents. There is more oil coating on the underside than I had in my memorey but there are no active leaks - its parking spot at my shop is a testament to that. The rear end has some oil coating around the plug. I could easily have had my detailer go through it but I assumed that the winner will want to see it as original. It will clean up to look like the rest of the truck. I also examined the suspension rubber. It all looks very good to me including the antiroll bushings. They should show up in the pics. Someone else asked about pitting. The trim is in xlnt shape. The rims are xlnt as well. The black on the rearview mirrors is faded - probably the most noticible defect on the car but easily fixed.
