This is a Willys Jeep Frame that we restored and built to use as a foundation for a Military jeep build but ended up restoring another jeep and lost interest in the jeep we were going to build with this frame. So we are offering this for sale. There have been countless ours of cleaning, degreasing, derusting, painting, and rebuilding that have went into this frame. If we only got $10 per hour for our labor it would not equal the buy it now price and that doesn't even take into consideration the money actually spent or the value of the frame and components. The reserve I have on this probably would not buy all the new parts that I have listed and have went into this restore. My loss your gain. I know some of you consider your time as not worth anything, but if you are wanting to build a Willys jeep this would put you way ahead of schedule, not to mention the countless hours of cleaning everything to make it look new. So, what has been done here? To start off with everything was disassembled and all the greasy gunk inside everything was cleaned in a hot tank. The front end was rebuilt with new bearings, new axel bearings, new pinion seal, new seals, new wheel cylinders and new brake shoes, with new brake lines and brake hoses. The rear was also rebuilt in the same manner with new axel bearings, seals, pinion seal, new wheel cylinders and new brakes shoes. The Transmission and transfer case also gone through and replaced bearings that it needed, new seals and gaskets with a new throw out bearing and new clutch. The emergency brake also has new brake shoes installed. The driveshafts also got new u-joints. It has new axel snubbers attached to the frame, both front and rear and a new master cylinder. The leaf springs front and rear were replaced with brand new ones along with a pair of new shackles on all springs. The shocks are also brand new. The engine is rebuilt with new pistons, rings, bearings on the crank and rods. Block was taken to the machine shop were the valves were ground and block was checked. It also has a new fuel pump. There is probably still things I am forgetting to mention. Go take a look at your rusty, nasty, greasy frame and ask yourself, Do you really want to do all that work? If you hit the buy it now button I will throw in another frame with a front end still attached, a whole box of new small parts , a grill with headlight, a MB blackout taillight, a new sheet metal end gate and all other jeep parts that I have---I am getting out of the jeep business and you can have everything jeep I can find. The frame comes with a bill of sale only, don't have a title.On Jun-12-12 at 16:07:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Checked the spare parts I have and if you choose Buy It Now you will get, 31/2 boxes of new brake shoes (2 sets per box i.e. both front or rear enough to do 2 more jeeps) A new bag of brake hardware, A trans /transfer case rebuild kit (mostly there missing a few parts) Differential cover gasket and other misc gaskets for engine and transmission, New King pin shims (2 sets) new radiator hose, new pinion seal, 1 new complete exhaust pipe front to rear including muffler, an extra center long exhaust pipe and front piece that goes to manifold also new, New reproduction rear panel for M38, where tailgate goes. Misc trans shafts and internal gears, rear axels with 1 drum, Misc new seals and gaskets and misc small parts. spare frame with front end attached along with steering box and steering tie rods, and also rear springs still attached. A CJ2A front grill with headlights ( nice restorable, small dents but not bent all up or rusted out) couple new gallons of WWII green paint. Can email pictures of all this upon request.
