In the meantime while the seat is in motion the Driver would have a chance to go to the back of the Van & have the Power Wheelchair lift lower the wheelchair to the ground which can be seen in picture number 16, showing the back of the van and the Power Lift! Just wheel the wheelchair over to the front Passenger side door to pick up your Companion & you are off to the races or where ever of your choice!!! The Best Part of the Van is it is in MINT CONDITION! Everything works like it should, just had a Brand New Headliner put in & in a Van is not a Cheap Adventure Due to the size of the area it covers! With Ice Cold AC which in Florida is a must, or out of State any more is also a Must to keep cool! Another Great Feature is in the 4 Cylinder Fuel Injection 2.4 L EDZ I4 150 HP!!! According to Dodge this engine actually out produced Mitsubishi's 3.0 engine that was an Option in the 1999, which by the way is the III Generation of the Caravangiving Daimler Chrysler Corporation the Maker of theVan a chance to Perfect its Product, because back in the late 1990's & early 2000's Minivans were the thing only because you could pack in 7 to 8 Passengers & still bust25 to 30 Miles Per Gallon of Gas!!! The seat itself I had my son of 240 pounds sit in & workit & there is moore weight that it can handle! With him on it you would have thought there was no one sitting in it! As for the rear lift it is made by Bruno which is one of the Best on the Market! Right on the lift it says "Bruno Scooter" so I would assume it can handle a Power Scooter which are not light!!! Also I tried it out myself and hung on the Super Large type"J" hook & it started to lift me off the ground no problems & I'm around 400 pounds! So I would think it will lift any chair up and in!!! You may need to remove the 3rd seat to fit your chair in the back if need be, but that is easy with Dodge Caravan with just a flip of their lockdown hook. Good Luck to all on their bidding!
