Hello folks and thanks for taking a minute to look at my extremely reliable and ridiculously low mileage 2001 GMC Safari SLE 7 passenger minivan. It's optioned with the rear a/c which definitely comes in handy and is ice cold! It's powered by a fuel efficient 4.3Liter 6 cylinder engine and it runs like a brand new van because it practically is! Everything functions like new...automatic 4 speed transmission, CD player, power locks, power brakes, power steering, etc.You're probably asking yourself...how is the current mileage of only 10,750 possible when most of the rest of these workhorses have 100k - 200k miles on them by now!? I purchased this awesome van from a gentleman in California that rescued it from a forgotten HERTZ rental car warehouse that had a few vehicles that never made it into circulation for one reason or other. This van had 800 miles on it when I purchased it 15 moths ago and besides the preventative maintenance described below, I changed the oil once when I got it, again at 5k and recently at 10k miles and added gas....that's it! I have clear title in-hand as well as 2 remotes and keys as well as the owners manual. Recently, I replaced the original tiger paw tires with 4 new white raised letter Yokohama Geolander A/T-S, the original battery with a brand new Optima Red Top Battery and the original serpentine belt for added peace of mind, as well as both front and rear original shocks with Monroe Sensa-tracs. I also tinted the front two windows to match the back and installed rain guards as well. Finally, I purchased a custom 2 piece (one piece entire front cab and a one piece entire rear) grey carpeting placed over top of the mint carpets to protect them.
