Up for auction is this 1985 Pontiac Parisienne station wagon I recently acquired from an estate. It appears to have been owned by the family of the deceased since new and has just under 91000 miles. It is an extremely straight, rust free, excellent running and driving old wagon that has power steering, power brakes, non-working a/c and but no other power options. Tires have good tread remaining but since it hasn't been licensed since 2008 I recommend they be replaced before long. The original 305 Chevy engine runs great, doesn't smoke, no rattles, bangs or leaks, and the exhaust is complete and quiet. I removed the fuel tank, cleaned it and put in fresh gas. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts as it should and will have new fluid and filter before auctions end. The exterior seems to be free of rust, has a couple minor dings, the paint is ok, the glass is all good and the windows, including the power rear window, operate properly. The left rear wheel cover is missing the center cap. The interior isn't as nice. The headliner is good and not sagging, the dash has several cracks in it, the driver side seat back has a tear, the front passenger side door panel has what appears to be water damage, the carpet is good. Interior is in need of a good cleaning but I'll leave that chore for the new owner. I checked the Vehicle History Report after posting the ad-I can't explain the gap from 1985 to 1990 but I will try to verify through friends and family of the estate if it was purchased new by a family member.
