This auction is for a 1974 Plymouth Duster coupe. 225 Slant Six, Automatic Trans, Power Steering, Rear Defogger, Pop out rear side windows, AM Radio. It is a 1 owner super well maintained and always garaged car. I would definately call this car a survivor car because of its condition right down to its poverty hub caps. It is all original and has 91,245 actual miles. Original Sherwood Green (G8) paint, interior, etc. This car runs, drives and handles like it was 1974 all over again! We drove it home and I just couldnt believe it! It has Power Steering that you can steer with one finger effortlessly. The car goes down the road straight as an arrow and with plenty of power from the slant six cyl. The body is almost perfect. The one old gentleman owner did a small patch repair on the bottom of the right front fender and a couple of brush touch ups. One is by the lower right side rocker edge and one by the rocker drain opening. Thats it. We could have repaired this properly but I want you to see the car the way we got it. The underside is amazingly solid in all areas. All the braces, pans, trunk floor, frame rails, etc are perfect! All clean and smooth like you would see in an Arizona type climate. You can see where the factory undercoating begins and ends. Even all the body plugs are intact and nice. Doors open and close like new. Windows roll up and down smoothly. The interior of the car is close to perfect. There are 4 areas of stitching on the drivers side back rest that have been re-stitched. Headliner is mint. Dash is mint. Seats and door panels are mint with the exception of what I mentioned. This car even has its original green rubber floor mat that is perfect. The trunk area houses its original spare tire and jack that has never been used. It even has the card board plate that covers the tire release! If you look closely, you can see the factory build sheet mint and still in place, never touched! We even have the original window sticker, owners manual and all pertinent information that the owner recieved when the car was purchased. We have some reciepts on work over the years and even his original purchase order. He even saved some of his inspection and emission stickers!!! I cant stress enough how nice the car is for the age. You are more than welcome to come check the car out. This would make a nice daily driver, a first purchase for your son or daughter or nice addition to the mopar collectors inventory. Enjoy the car as is or dress it up with a set of rally wheels, white stripe kit, etc etc.Not trying to brag this car up but you dont find them in this condition very often. You can drive this car home with confidence. We have all proper dealer paperwork for a smooth transaction.
