Up for auction is one very nicely restored 1950 Ford F-1 truck. This truck has been in the same family for over 20 years and was fully restored just a few years ago. Since its restoration was complete it has been kept in a climate controlled facility and only driven to local shows during nice weather!! This is one of the most solid rust free Ford trucks you will find!!It has an original flat head v8 engine with dual 2 barrel carbs and a 3 speed transmission and original rear end all with less than 1500 miles on the rebuild and resto. This truck runs and drives as good as any 50 model truck should. It has also had all new mechanical components such as... Tires, brakes, lines, belts, hoses, battery, exhaust etc etc. The truck has been updated to a 12 volt system and an inline electric fuel pump.The F-1 offers one of the straightest and most solid rust free bodys you will find. It has been completely disassembled and painted with slick PPG sport red paint code wa6265. The truck has had all new glass, stainless, chrome etc. What was not replaced new was restored and polished to look new!The interior has a very original look and comfortable feel. It has also been restored and shows extremely well. The lights, wipers, signals, gauges work.
