I bought this car last year along with several other vehicles. It had been in indoor storage for many years. As you probably know, these Mk 3 Granturas are quite popular in FIA racing and very competitive. This car would be an excellent candidate to turn into a race car as it needs a full restoration. Body wise it is mostly there-missing the windshield and rear window. The fiberglass bonnet has some poorly done repairs but it is still usable. The door glass is still there. The instruments and the remains of the steering wheel are included. The lovely Cortina taillights are in good condition. Mechanically it is almost all there. The radiator is the only thing missing mechanically that I know of. Of course everything will need to be rebuilt. The 1800 MGB motor is there along with the transmission. The TVR rear differential is on the car. The tube chassis appears at first glance to be in good condition but upon closer inspection there is some rust thru on some of the joints. It would be up to the new owner to decide whether to repair or replace the tube frame. This car needs everything but it is a great opportunity to get a FIA eligible TVR at a reasonable price. Of course, if you're going to race a car then everything would have to be gone thru anyway. The body tag is gone from the car. This car will be sold with a bill of sale describing the car, notarized if necessary. If you need more paperwork for your state or for export then I can get an assigned number engraved on a TVR body plate and get the car licensed and registered in my name here in the state of Georgia for an extra fee.
