Vehicle Detail

***If you are looking for a one of a kind Z that will turn heads everywhere you go, then you've found the right car....*** This auction is for a 1975 280z custom. You will NOT find another Z like it, as this has been designed from the ground up by ONE person. The remodel has less than 6,000 miles on the entire car. I have been a Z enthusiast for years and have never come across a 5.0 conversion better than this car. It HAULS and handles! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! I will include every detail about this car so you have a complete understanding of what you are bidding on. You will not be disappointed in this vehicle. It is unreal... ABOUT THE CAR This 280Z truly is one of a kind. No matter where you are driving it, car lovers, Z enthusiasts and just people passing by will stop and ask you to pop the hood. The reaction is always the same. "WOOoooaahhh..." The number of hours invested in the fabrication of this 280Z are countless. The amount of money put into the parts and install do not get close to the asking price. You are getting one heck of a ride for a fraction of the cost and time & effort it took to bring it into this world. The car sat in a barn in Texas for over 15 years. It had roughly 42,500 miles on it when it was purchase for rebuild. Since the rebuild, the car has ~5,500 miles. The body/frame of this vehicle are less than 50,000 miles old and are as straight as an arrow. One big concern for Z cars is rust. This vehicle has 0% rust. In the rebuild, the floor pans were cleaned, the door seals were tweaked and the battery compartment was relocated entirely. NO RUST AT ALL. The car has been in Texas all of its life. If you are looking for a Z to purchase as a daily driver and you want to put 50-100 miles a day on it, this car is NOT for you. If you are looking for a car that you can take around every now and then, drive on the weekends, or take it to the strip/track, then this car IS absolutely the one for you. ***Car is licensed as a classic vehicle and therefore does not have to pass inspection in the State of Texas. You will need to make modifications if you wish to drive it more than 3,500 miles per year*** INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUILD Engine/Transmission: (ALL REBUILT) (9.0/10.0)In addition to all of these parts being less than 2 years old, the install and assembly are completely professional. GREAT really..)You won't have to put a single penny into the engine, drive train, or electrical components of this vehicle. It is a mechanical work of art and in amazing shape. The rails are 100% straightThere is NO rust in the vehicleThe car comes with additional parts (see below) and a wiring diagram labeling all additions made to the vehicle. Steering is perfect. Turns and corners like a dream. Body is in great shape. Only minor dings (to be expected) but hardly noticeable. Tread on tires is at about 75%. Good for occasional driving for quite some time. BAD: (Not really bad... but things to improve upon...) The paint is not show paint. I would call it a 8.0/10.0. It has a few chips in the common Z places. (Door seals and hood seals) Pin-stripping could be better, but not terrible. Paint chips on corners/edges could use some touch up. Only because I like to stop has quickly as the car can go quickly, I would suggest upgrading the breaks. My suggestion: 4-piston caliper breaks for front (from 90's Maxima) and 2 piston in back. ($750 total) Car will need a new carpet set. ($250 online for a COMPLETE set) Car has stock suspension parts (other than urethane bushings). Though it is in good shape, I'd recommend upgrading before playing on the track/strip too much.No side mirrors. (Its made to go in a straight line!). I would recommend the fairlady-Z fender mirrors if you decide to go that route. They would look GREAT on this car. UGLY: THERE IS NONE!!!! EXTRA PARTS In addition to getting this car at an amazing price, you'll also be receiving well over $2000 in additional parts for the car. They include: Secondary hood with hood scoop for blower - $500High rise butterfly-style blower (painted to match) - $150Additional set of racing tires - $2504 Hoosier tires for racing rear wheels - $2504 Hoosier tires for racing front wheels - $200Complete Polyurethane bushings set for the entire suspension - $250Chrome frame rails for the Z - $250Additional Ford AOD Transmission (Needs repair) - $150PLEASE bid with confidence!
