This MGB-GT was purchased in Sept. 2002 from California, shipped to Michigan. I have documents that state the car had less than 28,000 miles when parked, due to an emergency brake not working. The engine was pulled in 2003 and restoration started. The engine was bored .030 over on cylinder walls, with a new cam and lifters. It now has a 2 barrel down draft Weber carb (sorry, don't have originals), new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, new gas tank, fuel pump, sending unit and fuel lines. It also has a new radiator, heater core, and oil cooler. Car runs and looks great. I have some pictures and all receipts for work done. The GT has original 4 speed non-over drive transmission that operates smoothly into all gears. It has new brakes, bearings replaced in wheel hubs and splines are in great shape. Also new are the clutch and brake master cylinders, and slave cylinders. New wire rims are fitted with Mastercraft ASIV radials. Car was then taken apart to be repainted in primrose yellow (acrylic enamel) ; completed in 2006. The bumpers and trim are original and still in very good condition. This was a very rust free car to begin with. It sat for 15 yrs. in storage. No cracks or hazing in window glass, however windshield does have a light scratch on passenger side from wiper arm. The interior has new panels, carpet, dash pad,and weather stripping. The seats have been redone. Gauges are original and currently in working condition. Head liner is original, but nice shape. I do not have a radio or sunvisor for the car. The rear view mirror has hazing around the edges. I have described this car to the best of my ability.
