Here is an all original well kept 1966 galaxie 500 convertible. This car has power steering, under dash ac, auto on the column, 390 bbf . I got this car through a package deal but have decided to sell because of to many other cars in the way. Built rite here in Atlanta Georgia. This galaxie is the factory z code car with a factory 390 big block that looks to be in great shape with no major leaks at all. Factory S code intake manifold. Updated with a new edelbrock 4 bb carb and a sunpro tach (previous owner mounted but can be removed easily). Both engine and trans were rebuilt with very little miles driven after. Car cranks rite up, idles great and runs good. Newer hancook thin white wall tires. Car stops great. This car was a previous all show car. New front and rear chrome bumpers. All the rest of the chrome and stainless are in great shape for the age. The car has a new convertible top with zip out back glass. Newer carpet kit with floor mats. New carpet in the truck. The front and back seats are in near mint condition along with the convertible top boot/cover. All the gauges seem to work perfect along with the wipers,lights, etc... Convertible top goes up and down great. All the glass is in great shape and roll up and down well. The car has had 1 repaint, many years ago and still looks very presentable. To turn this back into a really nice show car you would need to address a few areas on the car shown in the pictures. There is bubbling in the paint on rear quarters, along with some paint flaking beside the new convertible top. There is no rust in the floor pans. Drive this car as is or do a little more and have a absolutely beautiful car. Wish I could keep this one, good luck don't let this one get away!!!!. This is a very nice garage kept car with a low/lower reserve.
