2009 Kandi Coco Electric Vehicle I purchased this car new in October of 2009. This car has been well maintained, but does have some minor scratches on the vehicle, mainly in the cargo area. All systems are fully functional as well as the battery system has been maintained exceptionally. This car is 100% electric and plugs into a 110 V standard outlet to recharge. The charger is built in to the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle new and has a clear title. The original car cover is included. Features / Additions / Notes on Vehicle / Modifications to the Vehicle:1) The radio has been replaced to a JVC radio with upgraded weather resistant speakers for a much better sound quality. The radio does have a removable faceplate for security. It does have a CD unit built in and a remote unit.2) A built in battery watering system was installed at the time of purchase. Distilled water has been used only the entire time and the batteries have been checked every two weeks and topped off. Pictures of the watering system is shown. Access is from the front and the back access panel.3) In order to easily service the batteries, I modified the rear access panel to a hinge panel that opens. This easily accesses the watering tube for the batteries. The front batteries are accessed through the front left vent below the windshield.4) I did break the gas cap cover (battery charging access cover) last year. I used fiberglass to repair it and it works well. The picture shows the repair, along with the charging cord connected; as well, you can note the charging systems works perfectly.5) The battery travel capacity is excellent. It is rated at 50 miles, but the most I have ever driven it was roughly 25 miles on one charge, with no difficulty of an insufficient battery charge. I recharged and cycled the charger on a regular basis, even through the winter time. The car has been parked in a small garage all the time.6) All lights, headlights, dome, parking, brake, high / low headlights, reverse, left / right blinker , horn. etc work. Tires are in excellent condition (547 miles only) and the brake system is perfect. This Kandi Coco is original factory equipped with a maximum speed of 25mph.
