A true survivor with only 83,798 original miles (I believe this to be correct as the speedometer does not appear to have rolled over…i.e.: the numbers all line up correctly) This mileage figure may change slightly as potential bidders test drive the car.. This car runs and drives like a dream. The original factory 403 starts easily, does not smoke or rattle and purrs down the highway. The Turbo-Hydramatic shifts as it should and the car steers straight, stops straight and has no unusual noises. The ride is smooth. The interior is complete and original. It is showing its age as the drivers seat is showing some padding from sun damage and will need recovered, and the carpet will need to be replaced, both easy fixes. The dash pad has 2 cracks. The steering wheel is in excellent condition as is the instrument cluster. All the gauges work as they should and the dash lights work as well with the exception of the high-beam indicator and the right turn indicator (probably just bulbs). The “idiot” lights seem to work fine, even the original dash clock works well. All the interior chrome is nice. The car has cruise control and a 6-way power seat and they function properly and the A/C blows cold. The windows and locks are not power, but function properly. The original AM-FM radio (no tape player) works good, however, the original power antenna does not operate automatically anymore (stays in the up position). The exterior lights work good, turn signals W/ lane-change lights, headlights, taillights, brake lights, etc. The indicator lights on the top of the front fenders work as well, both with headlights on and with turn signals. The glass is in excellent condition with no noticeable pitting, chips or cracks.The wipers an horn work properly. The car has the original rally wheels, new tires and a new battery. The exterior chrome and stainless is excellent as depicted in the front and rear photos. I have found only surface rust on the under parts of the car (frame, suspension, etc.) and no cancer or bubbling of the painted surfaces. The interior floors and trunk floor feel solid. There is normal fading of the exterior paint and wear and tear, minor dings, a scratch near the driver’s side mirror as shown in the photo and other minor surface scratches. This car is as it came from the factory (no rebuilds, no collision damage, original paint and interior). I have used this car as a daily driver and would not be afraid to drive cross-country.
