You are bidding on a great-looking, great-running Scion XB. This car has been very well maintained and slightly customized. The motor is quite peppy. It has been equipped with a cold-air kit and electronic fuel regulator to actually give it a little more zip. The exhaust has also been beefed up as well. It probably has about 25 to 30 more horsepower than a regular XB – and yet it still gets 34-36 mpg. It has been lowered and outfitted with aftermarket alloy rims. The engine has high miles (300k) from the previous owner – and it still runs flawlessly. The previous owner was in the military and had to drive on a daily basis from Maryland to Fort Dix, Nj for work. I have driven the car daily for the past 7-8 months and have had no issues whatsoever. I have had to change only the oil. It runs and drives like a great car. That is about 120 miles each way – all highway. The paint is in excellent condition with no dents, dings, or scratches worth mentioning here. All of the outside styling cues were on the car when purchased. The front air dam, the side and rear skirts, the rear air foil, window tint – all done prior to purchase. The interior is in great condition. The seats and carpet show very little signs of use. The front driver’s seat does have a couple of cigarette holes (2) – but the fabric and carpet in the car are overall in great shape. The headliner has been changed to black suede – very cool. Additionally, there is a rear camera backup system installed – but doesn’t function because the head unit has been removed. The factory radio will be sold with the car, but will need to be reinstalled to function. All “warning” lights are on (pictured) – SRS, Traction control, etc. – but all systems function properly. I have been told that the ECU module is sending incorrect signals and needs to be re-programmed but I have not had this done. It doesn’t affect the performance of the car at all. The lights have been on for the entire time I have owned the car. All of the electronics function properly – lights, windows, heat, etc. – for the exception of the A/C and rear passenger light that needs a bulb. The A/C needs to be serviced. I just recently found this out as we had our first 80+ degree day last week here. I don’t what it needs – take this into account when bidding. Overall, this is a solid little car – good gas mileage for a student or family and perfect for commuting. It should pass any state inspection with minimal issues. This vehicle is being offered for sale “AS-IS” because of year and miles only.
